Therefore, controlling the size, shape and distribution of graphite nodules is of paramount importance in steel production. In this article, we will explore various strategies and techniques employed to achieve effective graphite nodule control in the steel manufacturing process. Graphite nodules are a form of carbon that can be present in various types of steel. Unlike graphite flakes, which are commonly found in cast iron, graphite nodules have a spherical or nodular shape.
