The intertwined relationship between women's empowerment and economic development is profound. On the one hand, more equality can be fostered by the substantial reduction of gender differences brought about by economic progress in society. On the other hand, women's empowerment, which gives them more access to resources, education, and decision-making authority, can spur development initiatives and have a positive impact on society as a whole. This mutually reinforcing relationship emphasizes how crucial it is to acknowledge and support women's empowerment as a major force for long-term economic advancement. The main objectives of this paper is
For the study data has been collected from annual periodic labour force survey reports, world development indicators, and report on all India survey on higher education. To measure economic development, GDP has been taken as proxy variable and women labor force participation rate and gross female enrolment ration has been taken to show women empowerment. The results of the study show positive association between women empowerment and economic development. As per the results it has been suggested the women should encourage to participate in labour force and should get training required for today’s employment profile.

This study analyses the contribution of the Indian civil aviation industry to economic growth. Gross Domestic Product at Factor Cost (GDPFC) is representing economic growth. The contribution of the civil aviation industry is considered in terms of the output value of the air transport component of the industry, and it is the key independent variable for the analysis. Other explanatory variables of the objective are total export, the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) of ATF, and trade-based Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER). The duration considered for analysis is from 1981 to 2019. The present study has considered annual time serie data for analysis. The Autoregressive Distributed Lagged model (ARDL) approach is used for the estimation. It employs a bound test-based co- technique to examine if a long-run relationship existsisntegration between the selected variables. The causal relationship among the variables of interest is established using the Innovative Accounting Approach (IAA).

This paper shows that the traditional supply demand model that is the basis of all the modern day economic theories, models and fundamental inferences is wrong. The real supply curve complements, accentuates and follows the demand curve as the supply is always demand driven and not profit driven. This old model, predated to pre-industrialization that has been used for centuries has to be replaced by the corrected new model that accurately reflects the modern day markets and in not in conflict with them.

This paper explores the significant impact of health and education on economic growth and labor force participation. By reviewing empirical studies and theoretical frameworks, it demonstrates how improved health and education levels can enhance labor productivity, stimulate economic development and increase labor force participation rates. The interplay between these factors is crucial for policymakers aiming to foster sustainable economic growth. The findings underscore the importance of investment in human capital as a strategy for boosting economic performance and addressing labor market challenges.

Urbanization is a pervasive phenomenon transforming landscapes and ecosystems globally. Its influence extends beyond city boundaries, affecting surrounding rural and natural areas. Understanding the spatial spillover effects of urbanization on ecosystem services is critical, particularly when considering varying altitudes. Altitude gradients introduce unique ecological dynamics and challenges, influencing how urbanization impacts ecosystem services. This paper examines how urbanization affects ecosystem services across different altitudes, exploring the mechanisms and consequences of these spatial spillover effects.
