The COVID-19 pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has resulted in a myriad of clinical manifestations, with respiratory symptoms being predominant. However, emerging evidence suggests that COVID-19 can also present with various cutaneous manifestations, ranging from mild to severe dermatological symptoms. Understanding these dermatological manifestations is crucial for comprehensive patient care, early detection, and appropriate management strategies. This comprehensive review aims to synthesize the current literature on cutaneous manifestations associated with COVID-19, providing insights into their prevalence, clinical features, pathogenesis, and implications for patient care. By elucidating the dermatological aspects of COVID-19, healthcare professionals can enhance their diagnostic acumen and optimize patient outcomes in the context of this global health crisis. The recognition of dermatologic manifestations in COVID-19 patients is of paramount importance for accurate diagnosis, timely management, and understanding the systemic implications of the disease. This comprehensive review aims to elucidate the various cutaneous manifestations of COVID-19 reported in the literature, encompassing a wide range of dermatologic presentations observed in both confirmed and suspected cases.
